Faction Descriptions

Just like the character bios, I also want to keep a concise description for each of the factions. These descriptions will go into the final character bio sheets.

Here are a few ideas for the world's name.
  • Ordo
  • Chao,
  • Terra,
  • Feralus
  • Gaea
  • Triutis
  • Arma
  • amrak
  • Anderhal
  • Cynaku
Gaia and Terra are the overused names for this.

I chose the name Feralus but edited to Ferah. The name was to refer to the latin word for " Wild". It was to relate to the recurring them of order and chaos. While the characters were affiliated to only one of the two themes, nature is affiliated with both.

Dismali Empire

Alignment: Order
Means: Chaos

Concise version: A religious, noble but racist faction aiming to unite the world.

An enigmatic figure unites the remnants of a fallen civilization and encourages them to bring order to a chaotic world. The figure names herself the Empress and leads these people to a new land and ends up creating the largest superpower on this earth. The Empress sees her people as those who shall lead humanity into the future. She devotes her time to perfecting the human race and to reject those who are weak and different from her people.

Key inspirations: Sparta, British Empire and other European countries

The Tundran Republic

Alignment: Order,Chaos
Means: Chaos:

This ex imperial colony stretches across western region of the world and is a major superpower that is equal to that of the Dismali Empire in the East. It is a nation which aims to bring the world to order in the interest of the common man. However their intentions are questionable.

The key inspiration for the Tundran republic was a mix of the  history of Colonial America and the Russian February Revolution.

The Central Alliance

Alignment: Order
Means: Order

Concise version - a group of countries united to defend their homes and promote peace and order.

During the expansion of the Dismali Empire, many colonies were established on the the southern region of the world. The natives of these lands soon experienced the horrific actions made by the colonists. In retaliation, the natives united the tribes to protect their home and drew the colonists from their lands.
The united tribes swore to stop Imperials desecrating their native land and to ensure this, they established the Central Alliance. Over the years, nearby countries and cultures joined this alliance. Their central regions helped act as a Barrier between the Tundran Republic and the Empire over the years. They also became well known as experts in diplomacy and trade.

Key inspiration: An alternate take if native Americans fought back against British imperial rule and embraced new technology while preserving cultural traditions.
